A Spanish Student Visa lets foreigners live and work in Spain

Studying and working in Spain just got easier for non-EU's: why? Spain just changed its student visa regulations; it now comes with an automatic Spanish work permit, which is excellent news.

ALCOBENDAS, Spain - April 27, 2023 - PRLog -- How it used to be

Working up to twenty hours a week was possible before the Spanish Student Visa law changed in July 2022. However, the paperwork required to get permission to work was punishing. Preparing and filing this paperwork was difficult and many employers did not want to do it. Working with a student visa was possible, but it was very difficult to achieve.

So what changed?

The new Spanish Student Visa law removes the annoying paperwork.

The Spanish Student Visa now lets you work up to 30 hours a week without extra immigration paperwork.

How the new law benefits people who would like to learn and earn in Spain

The new law removes all the old immigration paperwork. Your student visa automatically lets you work up to 30 hours a week anywhere in Spain.

You now get more working hours and zero extra paperwork and there's more.

You can work for government agencies and private companies as an employee or self-employed.

Work more hours and earn more

Previously, student visa holders could only work 20 hours a week.

The new law increases this to 30 hours so you can earn more while studying.
