Follow on Google News | Cal State LA ranks among nation's best for nursing graduate programBy: Cal State LA Cal State LA is one of only two public universities in Los Angeles County included in the publication's "Best Nursing Schools: Master's" listing. For more than two decades, U.S. News & World Report has consistently ranked Cal State LA's nursing graduate program among the top 10 programs in California. The Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing, housed in the Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Services, comprises approximately 400 undergraduate nursing students, more than 175 graduate students, and four tenured professors and eight tenure-track faculty members. The school is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. "We are honored to have been selected again as one of the top graduate schools in the country," said Cinthya Sotelo, interim director of the school. "We are grateful for this recognition and I am especially grateful for all the hard work that goes into making it all happen. Above all else, we are dedicated to student success and this recognition demonstrates how dedicated we all truly are."
