By: BYITC Young people across Britain aged from 5 to 17 who excel in whatever they love to do – in the widest possible definition – only have 4 days left to enter the Inspire Awards 2023 set to take place at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh on 6 June. The Inspire Awards 2023 is a new initiative from the British Youth International College (BYITC), which was founded in 2015 by Glasgow-based academic and educator Dr Rashmi Mantri to help young people learn and improve their abilities in maths. "From Rubik's Cube to reading, cricket to coding, singing to science, environmentalism to engineering, influencing to innovating – we have so many winning categories that we are confident there is something for every young person," said BYITC's Dr Rashmi Mantri. "We want to celebrate diversity and inclusion and recognise young people from all backgrounds who are making all of our futures' brighter by learning and excelling in whatever they choose to do." Inspired by the success of the College, Dr Mantri hopes the new BYITC Inspire Awards will recognise 'Super Achievers' young people from all backgrounds who have excelled in fields including the environment, sports, media, art and creativity, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The deadline to enter is Sunday 30 April with the awards taking place at the Scottish Parliament between 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday 6 June 2023.
