Every child deserves the resources to learn: Award-winning author launches book donation campaignEducation is not a right, it is a responsibility. Together we can promote literacy and social-emotional learning for all children, regardless of their background or economic status by doubling our book donations.
By: BHEC The lack of access to books can negatively impact a child's educational success and future opportunities. Through this funding campaign, Graphy hopes to provide children in need with books that they can read and enjoy. The funding campaign aims to raise $8000 CAD in order to print and distribute 2000 books to underfunded schools and low-income communities across the country. The campaign will be hosted on fundly.com and will run until July 7, 2023. "Children deserve every opportunity to read and explore the world through books," said Graphy "I believe that this campaign will make a difference in the lives of many children who do not have access to books." Graphy has received numerous awards for her children's books, including the Canada Book Award, Family Choice Award, Readers Favorite, and the American Fiction Award. Her books have been praised for their engaging storytelling and beautiful illustrations, and they have been used in schools and libraries across the country and the world.
