VAUGHAN, ONTARIO - On June 25, 2023, the Vellore Village Community Center will come alive with the vibrant colors, music, and food from over 20 countries at the Multicultural Festival in Vaughan. The event, which will run from 2:00pm to midnight, is being organized by Muslim Women of Vaughan and FIABCI CANADA.

The festival aims to promote public awareness, appreciation, and enjoyment of different cultures and their expressions. It also seeks to encourage mutual cooperation, respect, and tolerance among Ontario citizens, as well as to encourage ethno-specific groups to participate in mainstream cultural, civic, and social activities.

Visitors to the festival can expect an exciting and diverse array of activities, including food booths from Turkish Style Halal Shawarma Tomars Doner, Mama Fatma Turkish Cuisine, Champion Doner, Intigris Global Education, DreamStar Bedding, and many others. There will also be exhibitors and vendors showcasing products and services from different parts of the world.

The festival will also feature a Kids Zone, where families can enjoy various games, rides, and programs. Children will have a chance to interact with festival mascots, participate in arts and crafts, face painting, games and rides, and learn about the many family programs offered throughout the city.

Community partners, including the Vaughan Fire Department and York Regional Police, will be on hand to meet and greet visitors and provide safety tips. Families will also have a chance to see a full-size fire truck up close.
