Free Women's Health Expo This Sunday, Benefiting YWCA of Greater Cincinnati

CINCINNATI - May 16, 2023 - PRLog -- In celebration of National Women's Health Week, the Empowering Her Women's Health Expo is happening this Sunday, May 21, 10am-2pm at The Summit Hotel.

This free, fun and interactive women's health event will feature healthy food and drink samplings, workout demonstrations, screenings, mini makeovers and photo booth, prizes, shopping, fashion shows, brunch 'n' learns, and free swag bags to the first 500 attendees. It's also a fun event for families, as there will be a kid's play zone and complimentary babysitting service to keep the kids entertained while parents enjoy the event.

"This event isn't just a health and fitness event. It's a hand-selected group of more than 60 local businesses and experts who all offer resources for empowering women," says life coach and event co-host Melissa Kirkpatrick. "From financial health, mental health, family and relationships, fitness and nutrition, skincare and beauty, wardrobe and image consulting, career and professional development, we're bringing a great range of resources under one roof for whole-person health and wellness."

Plus, it's all for a great cause. "The expo portion of the event is absolutely free, as we want to make this as accessible as possible. But for those who would like and are able to donate, we've partnered with the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati as our charity for this event," says event co-host and Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer Emily McNamara. "On the registration page, you'll find wish list items they need most for their local women's shelters that we'd love for attendees to bring for donation to empower other women in our community."

Kirkpatrick and McNamara say this event will be the ultimate Self-Care Sunday and Sunday Fun Day. "Come solo, with friends or bring the family," Kirkpatrick says. "We'll have something for everyone, and it's all for a great cause."
