The event is free and open to the public. Frederick Douglass' speech, delivered during a pivotal era of our nation's history, encapsulates the struggle for freedom and human dignity. The speech was first delivered in 1852, in Corinthian Hall, Rochester, New York to the Ladies' Anti-Slavery Society. By participating in this reading, attendees will have the opportunity to lend their voices and become part of a historic moment that celebrates unity, empathy, and progress. We are seeking volunteers from all backgrounds, regardless of their public speaking experience. Whether you are a seasoned orator or simply wish to contribute your voice, your presence is highly valued.
