Camera Lens Brand SIGMA Releases L Bayonet SGV Lens Firmware Update

HONG KONG, China - May 29, 2023 - PRLog -- SIGMA, a camera lens brand, released firmware updates for several L bayonet SGV series lenses. The specific updates and the products applicable to them are as follows:

Supports Leica EXTENDER L 1.4x multiplier.
For: SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports L Bayonet • SIGMA 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS | Contemporary L Bayonet • SIGMA 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO | Art L bayonet.

The newly developed anti-shake algorithm "OS2" mode has been updated to significantly improve the image anti-shake effect, from 4-gear anti-shake capability to 6.5-gear anti-shake capability at the wide end and 5.5-gear anti-shaking capability at the telephoto end, supporting Leica EXTENDER L 1.4x multiplier lens.

For: SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports L Bayonet.
The newly developed anti-shake algorithm "OS2" mode has been updated to significantly improve the image anti-shake effect, from 4-gear anti-shake capability to 6.5-gear anti-shake capability at the wide end and 5.5-gear anti-shaking capability at the telephoto end. Improve the focus tracking performance in AF-C continuous AF mode.

Compatible with Leica L-mount lens systems that support multiplier lenses.
Applicable products: SIGMA TELE CONVERTER TC-1411 multiplier lens L bayonet • SIGMA TELE CONVERTER TC-2011 multiplier lens L bayonet.

The zoom lens firmware needs to be updated with SIGMA USB DOCK UD -11. After the update is complete, be sure to remove the battery pack from the camera and reinsert it to use the updated product.
