The natural world and the life around us are recurring themes in her work. Dead Zone I, published in the print edition of the literary and arts journal, Still Point Arts Quarterly XI, was inspired by media reports of agricultural and industrial runoffs occurring in deltas, estuaries, lakes and oceans worldwide. These excess nutrients case a plethora of issues harmful to humans and marine life. There may be a light at the end of the tunnel. Scientists have stated that dead zones due to human activity are reversible if their causes are reduced or eliminated. Surely a challenge and an uphill battle. Her paintings, sculptures and mixed media work have been exhibited and won awards in Fusion Art's international exhibitions since 2015.
