Moksha Home Goods Enters The Sustainable Home Decor Market And Commits To Plant 1 Tree Per Sale

Los Angeles-based company, Moksha Home Goods has launched a range of affordable, decorative home pieces through Etsy. The company hopes to bring inspiration and joy through creative and sustainable home goods whilst advocating for waste reduction.

LOS ANGELES - June 14, 2023 - PRLog -- Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi each piece is beautifully imperfect, simple in design, rich in texture and has been handcrafted using recycled cardboard.  With the health of the planet at the core of the company, Moksha Home Goods has committed, through the charity One Tree Planted, to plant one tree in the Amazon Rainforest for every product sold.  The hope is that this will go some way to restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world.

Founder Kelly Skipper says "I have always been drawn to businesses that are holistic in some way.  After running a successful holistic and beauty business in the UK for 13 years, I was keen for a change.  With the amount of cardboard boxes that we would accumulate weekly and after attending sculpture classes, I really wanted to explore the idea of upcycling and to sculpt objects using waste materials from my home.  With an interest in interior design, creating decorative home pieces was an obvious fit. Giving back and contributing to the very materials that the products are made of was important to me and One Tree Planted do exactly that"
