Army Veterans impact children with the Teach, Coach, Mentor concept

LOS ANGELES - June 19, 2023 - PRLog -- Fresno Finance Professional Carlos Anzures and his colleague, military Veteran George Ohan, who also hails from Fresno, have partnered with The Lost Hills Union School District to implement their Teach, Coach, Mentor Program within the Migrant Education Program.

The program launched June 2, 2023 in Lost Hills, California and runs through June 30, 2023.

The goal of the program is to develop children to succeed in Life, both professionally and personally.  This is achieved through a developmental relationship characterized by mutual trust and respect.

This program builds a sustainable program of connecting children to opportunities that might otherwise be inaccessible to them, particularly in the Entertainment Industry, such as filmmaking, acting, writing and more.  Military Veterans are responsible for program delivery in the classroom.

Unlike traditional programs where students are simply guided through a check the block type of process, Teach Coach Mentor students engage in specific actions that lead them to think strategically, critically, work as a team.  The activities Teach Coach Mentor students participate in involve creative processes that inspire children to maximize their personal and eventually professional potential.  Teach Coach Mentor taps into the "knowing" and "doing" of various skills and unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership… even in kids as young as the kindergarten level.

George and Carlos are currently seeking additional entities to share the program with in order to allow more children to realize the possibility and opportunity of their own skills.
