AVS Electronics Returns To EuroBike 2023 With Smart Remote Controls and Displays

FRANKFURT, Germany - June 20, 2023 - PRLog -- Frankfurt, Germany - AVS Electronics, a leading HMI* engineering and manufacturing solution provider, is returning to EuroBike 2023 with its latest Smart Remote Controls and Displays.  AVS is showcasing several leading-edge products, including the RC18, a smart HMI ring remote; TT10, a two-button smart HMI top-tube cockpit display; and the  CD9, a high-resolution 2.8" IoT center display.   The full line of AVS's remote and display HMI solutions will be on demonstration at Messe Frankfurt (Hall 8, Stand M22) from June 21 through March 25. The RC18 smart HMI ring remote incorporates a 1.5" AMOLED display with a 650cd/m2 brightness for sunlight readability, 160°/160° viewing from almost any angle, and a capacitive touchscreen for intuitive control. The RC18 supports common communication interface protocols and integrates with leading drive systems. Optional connectivity features include BLE 5.x, OTA firmware updates and NFC for smartphone pairing & bike system unlock and bootup.  The ring-remote inconspicuously mounts onto any standard e-Vehicle's handlebar.  A wireless ring remote is also available - AVS RC16.

The innovative TT10 HMI remote module is designed to conveniently be placed into the ebike's toptube.  With two buttons for easy control and a high brightness 1.14" all-weather IPS display, the TT10 makes it smooth to switch between functions and view data such as speed, assist modes, battery SoC, error messages and other pertinent details.  The TT10 can be adapted to a variety of drive systems and is compatible with common communication protocols. Furthermore, the TT10 can  be used as a standalone device or in combination with AVS's RC8, RC9 or even the RC10. An LED display version is also available – AVS TT09.

With a large high-resolution 2.8" QVGA color LCD display, the CD9 HMI deliveries high brightness, sunlight readability, 160° viewing angles, tempered glass-like protection and all-weather capacitive touchscreen into a minimalist edge-to-edge housing design.  Additional features include a wide range of user-friendly connectivity functions, such as BLE and ANT+  as well as a USB Type C connector for updates & charging. The display HMI  is compatible with leading drive systems and supports CAN/ CANopen, UART, RS-232, RS-485 and LIN Bus.  The CD9 can be used as a standalone device or in combination with AVS's RC8, RC9 or even the RC10.

All AVS products can be modularly configured with a wide selection of features for current and upcoming mobility solutions. The AVS RC8, RC9 and RC10 remotes optionally incorporate a selection of sensors, such as high sensitivity Wind, Humidity, Temperature and Barometric Pressure Sensors and 6-axis Gyroscope. This patented technology is known as VTorque^TM (Developed jointly by AVS Electronics and Velocomp LLC).
