EcoCareers.org seeks to connect employers, hiring managers and HR personnel in the green sector with jobseekers and the top talent in their respective industries. Joseph Boll, the organization's CEO, said, "EV jobs had already been slowly increasing over the past few years as environmentalists pushed more businesses and consumers to adopt more environmentally- These kinds of developments necessarily meant more jobs in manufacturing, engineering, and more, but all within a sustainable field. Now, thanks to the IRA, demand for EVs is expected to increase, and with that demand will come more economic growth and more job opportunities. On EcoCareers.org's job board, there are already more than 100 EV job openings — up dramatically from before the IRA was enacted. With the IRA expected to indirectly create thousands of job openings within the green economy, Boll says this figure is only going to continue growing from here on out. He added that his organization will continue working to bridge the gap between jobseekers and employers as this trend continues. "You're about to see a lot more electric vehicles on the road in the near future," said Boll, "and that means more work for people in the industry. For anyone looking to join the industry and become part of the incredible growth that's about to take place, now is the time." ### About EcoCareers EcoCareers is designed to help hiring managers and businesses connect with jobseeking professionals for sustainable job roles.
