Cali Funxion Records Releases Spyrothe7th's Single "Mocking Birds"

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - June 28, 2023 - PRLog -- On Friday June 23, 2023 new Indie Record Label Cali Funxion Records released their first single.  The record is a hip-hop song called "Mocking Birds" by SpyroThe7th.  Cali Funxion Records Founder and CEO Phil Small, Jr. aka Fly Life Phil said "We are super pumped that SpyroThe7th's newest track "Mocking Birds" is our first release.  This track is such an organic product.  SpyroThe7th called me and said he got a beat from Yung Nere the night before and wrote a song on the spot once he heard the beat.  I told him to come through the studio so we could track it while it was fresh; and he did.  We got a really good sound and banged out the track in about a half an hour.  We had recorded a few times prior so I already had a feel for how to dial him in on the Neve 1073SPX and the Bluey.  It was so fun going from concept to a tracked song so quickly".
