Talcott Data Breach: Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims

OKLAHOMA CITY - June 30, 2023 - PRLog -- Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach involving Talcott Resolution Life Insurance Company ("Talcott). On or around May 29, 2023, Talcott confirmed that an unauthorized actor gained access to its customers' sensitive information. The unauthorized access occurred through the use of the MOVEit transfer tool used by Talcott's third-party service provider, PBI Research Services. Through a subsequent investigation, Talcott determined that the data accessed by cybercriminals included the personal identifying information of approximately 552,821 individuals, including Social Security Numbers.
