ST. LOUIS - July 13, 2023 - PRLog -- St. Louis County Children's Service Fund (CSF) has awarded Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis a funding amount of $150,000 annually for three years to support mental and behavioral health services for children and families in St. Louis County. The funding will be used to support BHGHSTL's mission of providing holistic wrap-around services that address the needs of the whole child for all the scholars we serve. In addition to basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and mental health support, we offer access to high-quality education and enrichment opportunities, and we encourage scholars to explore their interests and grow as young people. BHGHSTL currently serves 68 scholars from the St. Louis area in our residential, academy, and collegian programs.

"It takes a team, a lot of effort, and plenty of individualized services to support our young people and their families," says BHGHSTL Clinical Therapist Carolina Dominguez. "Our partnership with CSF allows us to expand our reach, increasing the impact we have and, most importantly, increasing the empowerment of the youth and families we serve."

As a funded partner of CSF, BHGHSTL joins an integrated network of partners who share a commitment to providing quality services and programs to the children and families of St. Louis County. CSF invests in local nonprofits and governmental entities that provide mental and behavioral health services, substance use treatment, and prevention services for kids and families in St. Louis County through a voter-approved quarter-cent sales tax.
