PRLog -- If users are looking to set up their Bigpond email in Outlook then kindly follow the points given below.
- The user must have an account created on both accounts before starting the process.
- Then open Outlook mail on the user's device. Click on File and select Add Account.
- In the empty space, the user will have to add their Bigpond email address and then click on Advanced Options.
- Next user will have to check the box for, "Let me set up my account manually" and after that click on "Connect"
- Then the user will have to select the account type as "IMAP"
- On the IMAP section user will have to fill in the server details.
- For Incoming mail server enter imap.telstra.com
- For Outgoing mail server enter smtp.telstra.com
- Then the user will have to enter their Bigpond email address.
- Next, add the user account password.
- After adding the detail click on, Connect to verify the settings. If all the settings have been added correctly then the user will be able to see a green checkmark and after that user can click on Done.
- If the settings are not correct then double-check the added information.
- After the process is complete Bigpond webmail will now be connected to Outlook.
