Under Roy's leadership, Regional Hospice witnessed impressive growth and transformation, enhancing its services and programs to meet the unique needs of patients and families. Roy led the organization through numerous milestones and accomplishments and was instrumental in changing hospice legislation in Connecticut in 2012 to build the Center for Comfort Care & Healing that she envisioned for Danbury. "On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I want to thank Cynthia and share our sincere appreciation to her for her dedication, loyalty, and commitment to Regional Hospice," said George Mulvaney, Chairman of the Board for Regional Hospice. "Cynthia dedicated her entire being to the creation, development, and success of Regional Hospice and for that, we will forever be grateful." Marchione joined Regional Hospice after serving four years as CEO of Danbury Radiological Associates where she led six independent imaging centers across Connecticut. She also served as Executive Director of ancillary services at legacy Western Connecticut Health Network, now Nuvance Health, for 11 years where she oversaw laboratory and imaging service lines. "As we proudly celebrate our 40th anniversary, we look forward with excitement and anticipation for ToniAnn continuing Cynthia's impressive legacy as well as the new perspectives and vision she will bring to the table," said Mulvaney. "ToniAnn has demonstrated a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and fostering collaborative relationships within the healthcare industry.
