United States Old Catholic Church set to Ordain 3 Deacons and 1 Priest in November

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Aug. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- The United States Old Catholic Church will ordain Mark Warren of North Carolina as a deacon, Bill Payne of Kentucky as a deacon, Shawn Whittington of Nevada as a deacon, and Tommy Golden of Tennessee as a priest on November 3rd, 2023 by Bishop James Long. Tommy Golden will also be installed as the first Abbot of The Old Catholic Benedictines of Immaculate Mary.

Bishop James Long was quoted saying " As the Presiding Bishop of the United States Old Catholic Church, I am VERY proud of the seminarians!  They have worked HARD and have devoted themselves fully to their studies.

In saying that, the United States Old Catholic Church invites you to attend their ordinations on November 3, 2023, @3pm, est.

Shawn Whittington, Bill Payne, and Mark Warren will be ordained to the Diaconate.

Deacon Tommy Golden will be ordained to the Priesthood and will be installed as the Abbott for the Old Catholic Benedictines of Immaculate Mary.
