NEW YORK - Aug. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint will make its debut at the NY NOW Summer 2023 Market, an international buyers' marketplace, August 13-16 at the Javits Center in New York City.

Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint offers a full line of premium grade, ultra matte paint products with infinite, customizable color possibilities. Developed to be a high-performance product that's easy to use, the brand has steadily grown in popularity with DIY enthusiasts, influencers, and industry professionals across the US.

"We're excited to showcase Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint at the ultimate gift + home show and connect with retailers from across the globe," said Susan Hudson, lead developer of the paint line.  "When we searched for a product to use in our own shop, we could not find the right paint to use on reclaimed materials, so we created our own!"

This small batch specialty paint is made in the USA, and includes a true black and white, affording the ability to mix custom tints and shades. The paint palette consists of 16 core colors that are easy to custom mix for any project from finished and unfinished furniture to woodwork, metal or glass. Both paint and topcoat formulas are water-based, low VOC and environmentally friendly.

Through their popular DIY Network TV series, Salvage Dawgs, Black Dog Salvage owners Robert Kulp and Mike Whiteside have become known for their big personalities, intrepid approach to salvage, and creative custom furniture design ideas. Their bold, signature style carries over into their premium paint line with clever color names from "Caution: Dogs at Work," "I Need a Bandage," and "That's Gonna Leave a Mark" to "Star City Sunshine" and "Blue Ridge" – an obvious nod to their hometown of Roanoke, Virginia located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

"With the exploding trend of upcycled furniture, developing this paint line was a natural extension of the Black Dog Salvage brand," said Robert Kulp. "We love giving new life to salvaged items and our design team is well known for their fun use of color, so we are happy to offer this product to fellow DIYers."

"Part of what we love so much is seeing a salvaged item take on a new use, new life and a new personality," added Mike Whiteside. "Paint color and finish products are an important part of the process." Whiteside will appear at the booth throughout the four-day event.
