Central Island Healthcare is delighted to announce its participation in the upcoming Diwali Mela celebration hosted by the AsaMai Hindu Temple. This joyous event, set to take place on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from noon until 8 pm, presents an incredible opportunity for Central Island Healthcare to further enrich its South Asian program. As part of this endeavor, we are pleased to offer the services of a Henna Artist to our residents on August 8th, allowing them to immerse themselves in cultural traditions.

Our dedicated Dietary team at Central Island Healthcare is excited to introduce an exclusive taste of South Asian cuisine to our residents. The tantalizing menu features a delectable array of dishes, including mixed vegetable Biryani, Aloo Gobie, Vegetable Korma, Aloo Bhaji wrap, Matar Paneer, and Chana Masala. Complemented by aromatic Basmati rice, yogurt, roti, and Naan bread, this culinary experience promises to be a feast for the senses.

Central Island Healthcare continues to strengthen its ties within the local community. On August 31, we will host an appreciation BBQ in honor of the Syosset Chamber of Commerce. This gathering not only expresses our gratitude for the Chamber's support but also marks the introduction of three tiki wheeling carts, a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing outdoor activities for our residents as part of the Chamber's Beautification Project.

In our ongoing pursuit of holistic well-being, Central Island Healthcare invites all visitors to indulge in our newly unveiled refreshment center located in the lobby. We provide a variety of flavored water options every day.

Central Island Healthcare extends heartfelt appreciation to P.S. Pre-K 101 for their heartwarming "little hands" poster, a touching tribute to the dedication and hard work of healthcare workers. This thoughtful gesture serves as a reminder of the remarkable contributions made by our staff each day.
