"Extracting Humanity" Book Launch in the Metaverse at Edinburgh Fringe

Cybersalon's Cyberia @ 39 Whitfield Street is an integral part of the PBH Digital Free Fringe, extending the esteemed Edinburgh Fringe Festival into the captivating realm of Cyberspace. Running from 5th to 27th August, this virtual hub will be a haven for the meta-curious, featuring live performances, video podcasts from digital artists, and gatherings to screenings of plays available on demand.

Cyberia, a faithful replica of the world's first internet cafe in London's Whitfield Street, opened its doors in 1994. Now, in Spatial.io, it serves as a multi-presence Metaverse experience, a digital home for Cyberians worldwide. The event offers a unique opportunity for old Cyberians to reunite, reminisce, and forge new connections, united by a shared digital past.

This virtual social cafe hub, Cyberia, will be accessible 24/7 throughout the fringe, hosting a diverse program of events, theatre trips, meetups for the theatre producers' network "Producers Pool," and engaging showcases featuring musicians, dancers, and artists.
