Homeward Trails Announces "Clear the Shelters" Aug. 26 and 27

FAIRFAX, Va. - Aug. 23, 2023 - PRLog -- Homeward Trails Animal Rescue is hosting "Clear the Shelters" on August 26 and 27 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. ET at the HT Adoption Center, 11116 Fairfax Station Rd. Fairfax Station, Vriginia.

At the event, individuals can meet carefully selected, wonderful dogs and cats - some with completely waived adoption fees and $100 and $200 discounts!*

On Saturday, Aug. 26, Homeward Trails will partner with local animal rescue, Squishy Face Crew (https://www.sfcva.org/) who will also be onsite with some of their dogs. All week Homeward Trails will be posting its special animals on social media for potential adopters to meet ahead of time virtually to fall in love!

"Times are so incredibly tough in animal sheltering right now with animals facing euthanasia simply because shelters have no space to house them," explains Sue Bell, Homeward Trails Executive Director. "We really hope folks will come out to find their new family member and take advantage of our discounted and waived fees. We are thrilled that Squishy Face Crew will join us, as both organizations save animals from many of the same under-resourced rural Virginia shelters so the more we collectively adopt out, the more will be rescued next week!"
