People Around the World are Sending Postcards with Messages of Love to Maui

LAHAINA, Hawaii - Aug. 29, 2023 - PRLog -- [Lahaina, Maui] – In the wake of the devastating Maui wildfires, a new campaign is spreading love, support, and healthy meals to the impacted communities. "To Maui with Love"  is an initiative that allows people from all over the world to send digital postcards with heartfelt messages, photographs, and well-wishes directly to Maui residents affected by the wildfires.

The "To Maui with Love" campaign aims to connect people and foster a sense of solidarity during these trying times. Even more, every postcard sent through the campaign has the ability to raise donations that go directly to World Central Kitchen (WCK) to help provide healthy meals to Maui residents in need. WCK has already provided more than 60,000 meals to families, mostly in West Maui, who have been heavily impacted by the fires.

"We wanted to create an easy way for people to send messages of love and emotional support to the many people who are hurting here on Maui," said Christian Johnson, Co-Founder of PixlBank, the platform powering the campaign. Mr. Johnson currently lives in Kapalua, just 8 miles north of Lahaina, and has many close friends who lost their homes and businesses in the wildfires."
