He believes that leveraging technology and training can propel nursing and radiologic technology fields into the 21st century, improving early breast cancer detection and care. The goal is to make PHINMA Education's students and graduates integral to this transformative journey. The Philippines faces a higher risk of breast cancer among women, with 1 in 4 Filipino women expected to develop the disease. PHINMA Education's Allied Health students benefit from ABC's training programs, developed in collaboration with affiliated U.S. hospitals, particularly on the East Coast. Exposure to state-of-the- Leo Santos, ABC's Transformation and Business Development Manager, highlighted the comprehensive internship experience offered to students. They rotate through various roles, gaining insights into front office operations and therapeutic sections like surgery and chemotherapy. This approach differs from typical hospital internships, offering a holistic perspective of breast cancer care. Jej Quiros, Dean of Allied Health Sciences at PHINMA Saint Jude College, believes that this partnership will significantly benefit students, expanding their horizons and enabling them to improve the lives of women across different social classes by making life-saving services more accessible. PHINMA Education, a rapidly growing network of schools in Southeast Asia, comprises nine schools in the Philippines and one in Indonesia. The 2022-2023 academic year saw a 30.4% increase in enrollment compared to the previous year, resulting in a 19% year-on-year revenue growth, totaling P4.5 billion. The institution's commitment to student success, supported by strategic partnerships like the one with ABC, has led to a remarkable 79% board passing rate for first-time takers and 71% of graduates securing employment within a year of graduation.
