The mansion was the socialite location for state officials, Elvis Presley whom wanted to buy the mansion in the 1970's , heads of state and more. When Ms. Abney Rose died in her mansion in the year 2005, the mansion fell onto severe vandalism from not being secured properly which destroyed the mansions great historic beauty from marble floors, circle stair case, grand chandelier, 4 car garage large pool, guest house and more. The mansion lost all of her beauty as in grand trees, a fishing pond, animals and all of her historic history for Anderson, SC. The mansion is set to be demolished by a local builder for a 67 acre shopping center, and a large parking lot in the space the great mansion stood.. The television movie is now in development so this great Southern Lady and her great mansion are not forgotten for progress. The teleplay is now in development for a 2025 television movie and streaming.
