Her poems appear in numerous journals and anthologies including Barrow Street, The Southampton Review, Melville House's Poetry After 9-11: An Anthology of New York Poets, and The Best American Poetry. She's been the recipient of Palette Poetry's Spotlight Award, a Jody Donohue Poetry Prize, and Chicagoland Poets & Writers Sonnet Award. As a teacher NYSCA has supported her creative writing programs in school systems (K-12). More recently she has taught creative writing and literature at Stony Brook University, where she also completed her MFA.
