AHEAD With Horses Invites the Community to Costume Day 2023

SUNLAND, Calif. - Oct. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Shadow Hills, CA – AHEAD With Horses Inc, an extraordinary nonprofit that maximizes the potential of disabled, disadvantaged and special needs children by providing developmental therapy, education and recreation through horses, will hold their Annual Costume Day on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

At AHEAD With Horses, children with autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, chromosome disorders, spina bifida, seizure disorders, ADHD and many more diagnosis can learn how to ride a horse. Through our vaulting program students gain strength, confidence and skills. Accomplishments include things like being able to lift their head, sit independently, stand on their own, walk, increased mobility of arms and legs, speak, or increased communication, improved focus, etc. These might seem like simple tasks to you, but to these children and their families, they can be life changing!

This is a fun event for our students and the community. Come see our horses and staff in costume, play games, enjoy crafts, and even get a start on holiday shopping at our toy sale. Plus, trick or treating on horseback for all children.
