PYNKALYCIOUS 2023 - Celebrating Life, Survival, & Purpose

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Oct. 11, 2023 - PRLog -- Chapman Foundation, INC and media sponsor SHEEN Magazine are coming together again to honor "Life, Survival, and Purpose" during the annual "PYNKALYCIOUS -  Breast Cancer Celebration."  Adding to the excitement is our latest sponsor addition, FUBU clothing manufacturer Founder, President, CEO, and investor on ABC TV's Shark Tank, Daymond John, who is warmly welcomed by the CFI team.  . PYNKALYCIOUS 2023 will continue its tradition of featuring a mobile mammography unit, heartfelt (moving) testimonials, delectable treats, generous giveaways, and a captivating bubble release. This year, Fountain Inn Mayor George Patrick [GP] McLeer, Jr. will be joining the movement along with City Manager Shawn Bell.  This family-friendly event is devoted to raising funds for breast cancer survivors yearly.

Breast cancer is a debilitating illness impacting more than 2.3 million women in 2022, resulting in 685,000 deaths globally.  Regrettably, 70% of women who succumbed to breast cancer were among the 20% who did not undergo screenings. Importantly, 75% of women diagnosed with breast cancer had no family history or risk factors, highlighting the significance of regular screenings.  Early detection through screenings has been proven to reduce the risk of death by 40%.  CFI and SHEEN Magazine are dedicated to spreading awareness and prevention, stating, "The mission is to educate and raise awareness about a disease that has taken so many lives and shattered countless families. During PYNKALYCIOUS, we team up to celebrate (in pink), emphasizing transformation, purpose, and style with a complimentary event."

PYNKALYCIOUS

PYNKALYCIOUS is an annual breast cancer awareness event organized by The Chapman Foundation, INC. to celebrate life, survival, purpose, and everything pink. Its main objective is to raise funds for breast cancer research and survivors, providing an inspiring and memorable experience for all participants, including entertainment, giveaways, and tasty treats. Moreover, the event offers free wigs and beauty products for cancer survivors and those undergoing radiation treatment and spreads the critical message that early detection is vital in fighting breast cancer.

THE CHAPMAN FOUNDATION

The Chapman Foundation, founded in 1999 by Kimberly and William Chapman, has the intentional mission of promoting education and awarding scholarships to high school and college students while offering school supplies and toys to the less fortunate. CFI donates more than half a million dollars yearly to support children in southern regions and beyond. In addition, the foundation collaborates with other community groups to organize outreach programs and events, strengthening its impact and outreach.
