By: Chapman Foundation INC Breast cancer is a debilitating illness impacting more than 2.3 million women in 2022, resulting in 685,000 deaths globally. Regrettably, 70% of women who succumbed to breast cancer were among the 20% who did not undergo screenings. Importantly, 75% of women diagnosed with breast cancer had no family history or risk factors, highlighting the significance of regular screenings. Early detection through screenings has been proven to reduce the risk of death by 40%. CFI and SHEEN Magazine are dedicated to spreading awareness and prevention, stating, "The mission is to educate and raise awareness about a disease that has taken so many lives and shattered countless families. During PYNKALYCIOUS, we team up to celebrate (in pink), emphasizing transformation, purpose, and style with a complimentary event." The PYNKALYCIOUS Celebration will be held Saturday, October 14th, at Younts Center for Performing Arts, 315 N. Main St., Fountain Inn, SC 29644 (from 9:00 am - to 12:00 pm EST).
