Cable Networks worked at an unnamed national home-builder company in Irvine's technology park area and spent the last 3 months installing all manner of low voltage network cables, fiber optic cables, access control wiring as well as building up 4 separate data centers throughout the technology park area. All data centers were connected with underground fiber that the crew dug up and installed conduit to hold the delicate fibers. So. Cal. Cable Networks was able to perform this work because it holds a California C-7 license, and the city of Irvine required the license as well as a city of Irvine business license. City inspectors visited frequently and inspected their work with the same level of detail as other other trades. The customer, a very large national home builder with many projects in the works was very pleased with the result. He reports that there was lots of regulatory hurdles to overcome. The city required engineering drawings for all cabling, permits for all aspects of the installation.
