BARRIE, Ontario - Oct. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- Fraud is a pervasive and multifaceted problem that poses significant dangers to individuals, businesses, and society as a whole. It encompasses a wide range of deceptive activities aimed at obtaining financial gain or other advantages through dishonest or illegal means. To help combat this growing issue,Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie has partnered with the Ontario Provincial Police to offer a FREE Fraud Prevention Workshop presented by the Ontario Provincial Police for women and non-binary aged 55+. This workshop covers the current fraudulent trends, how to protect yourself and what to do if you suspect you have been a victim of fraud.
