Singular Discoveries Launches Narrative History Podcast

DURHAM, U.K. - Oct. 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Singular Discoveries, the independent content platform founded by author Paul Brown, is launching its first narrative history podcast series, also named Singular Discoveries, telling unusual true stories from forgotten corners of the past. It's a fully independent production, written and produced by Paul Brown.

Launching on 24th October, Singular Discoveries celebrates the unsung heroes of extraordinary events, unmasks the real characters behind notorious legends, investigates mysterious, unsolved true crimes, and tells stranger-than-fiction tales of adventure, survival, and heroism. Listeners can join host Victoria Belle Evans every Tuesday for this cinematic anthology series.

The limited series tells six true stories over eight concise episodes, using a narrator, archive audio, voice actors, and immersive sound effects. Conceived during the Hollywood strikes, the podcast aims to produce cinematic content away from the studio shutdown, and to provide a dynamic alternative to those narrative podcasts that drag single stories over too many episodes.

The first episode, 'The Titanic Rescue', telling the story of the unsung heroes who saved more than 700 souls, will be available for free from all podcast providers, including Apple and Spotify from Tuesday 24th October, with subsequent episodes released weekly. Subsequent episodes include 'The Lintz Green Murder', investigating a strange true crime that even Sherlock Holmes could not solve, 'The Female Horse Thief', unmasking one of America's most notorious criminals, and 'Sins Dyed in Blood', about a lost pirate from Blackbeard's Golden Age. A bonus ninth episode will "break the fourth wall" to reveal a secret involving host Victoria.
