GLEN HEAD, N.Y. - Oct. 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Players Coalition (https://players-coalition.org/), an independent organization working with athletes, coaches, and owners across leagues to improve social justice & racial equality in America, and Strat-O-Matic (https://www.strat-o-matic.com/), the market leader in sports simulation games, have teamed on a pilot program to incorporate games into their STEM curricula. The established lesson plans enable children to engage topics such as fractions, decimals, percents, data analysis, probability, and more.

Schools in five cities are the first to execute the program, which utilizes Strat-O-Matic's Baseball Express game, designed for elementary school aged children and donated by the company to teachers trained to best utilize the game in STEM Clubs, after school sessions and regular lessons. In all, Strat-O-Matic will provide nearly 1000 games to students in the launch schools.

"This partnership with Players Coalition is an amazing opportunity for Strat-O-Matic to get our Baseball Express games into the hands of kids, giving them incredible educational benefits," said Adam Richman, CEO, Strat-O-Matic Media. "We are proud to work with an organization that is so dedicated to boosting education in areas that have traditionally been underserved, and we know that these five schools will serve as models as we expand the program."

"Incorporating fun, user-friendly methods like Strat-O-Matic's Baseball Express goes a long way in keeping children engaged in learning critical concepts," said Tyson Ross, Former MLB Player and Players Coalition Advocate.. "We are excited to help get the programs started and we couldn't be more pleased with the response from administrators and teachers in our pilot locations."
