Fellowship of Women Clergy Celebrates Inspiring National Women Clergy

PHILADELPHIA - Oct. 17, 2023 - PRLog -- The 12th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon of the Fellowship of Women Clergy (FWC) is set to take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 12-3 p.m. at IASTE Ballroom, 2401 S. Swanson Street in Philadelphia. (Doors open at 11:30 a.m.). This remarkable occasion will commemorate twelve years of empowering and supporting women in ministry while honoring the exceptional contributions of three distinguished national women clergy members.
This is open to ALL.

The event, organized by the Fellowship of Women Clergy, has become a symbol of progress and affirmation in the realm of faith leadership. One highlight of the afternoon will be the heartfelt recognition of the achievements of three exceptional leaders who have made an indelible mark on their respective communities and around the country:

• Rev. Evelyn Kent Clark: Rev. Clark, renowned for her vision to rebuild her church into a state of the art senior living community, serves as Superintendent of the South District of the Eastern PA Conference of the United Methodist Church.
• Bishop Dr. Maureen L. Davis: Dr. Davis is an anointed preacher, pastor, visionary, and community organizer who serves as Presiding Bishop of the Gates of Heaven Assembly of Churches. She teaches and mentors pastors throughout the United States and internationally.
• Rev. Dr. Patricia Hernandez: Rev. Dr. Hernandez is a long time champion for women in ministry who is committed to breaking barriers, building bridges, and helping all of God's people to fully utilize their God-given gifts and purpose. She is Associate General Secretary for American Baptist Women in Ministry and Transition Ministries with the American Baptist Churches USA Office of the General Secretary.

The theme of this event is SAWUBONA, a Zulu greeting meaning We see you. This event will feature an array of enjoyable and Spirit-filled activities including music, dance, creative presentations, a delicious hot lunch, and remarks from surprise voices! Our special guest will be the Owen Valentine Experience. Vendors will be present.
