The SafeHouse Initiative Announces New Addition to Advisory Board

DENVER - Oct. 26, 2023 - PRLog -- The SafeHouse Initiative, a global consortium of industry-leading contributors and technology providers, has announced that industry cyber security veteran, Neal Mullen, will join the SafeHouse Initiative Cybersecurity Advisory Board in a director role to bring enhanced insight and focus on addressing operational resilience for commercial and public sector organizations of all sizes.

Neal Mullen brings decades of experience in leading and organizing comprehensive cyber security strategies for many of the largest supplier organizations throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia and will serve as a key director to the Cybersecurity Advisory Board of the SafeHouse Initiative on the latest industry compliance requirements and operational response strategies.

In his role as advisor to the SafeHouse Initiative board, Neal will actively meet with SafeHouse Initiative contributing partners to provide in depth guidance on where the SafeHouse Initiative needs to enhance or expand focus and scope to continue to address the ever growing and changing dynamic threats the cyber-attacks pose to delivering true operational resilience.

"No one solution, vendor or perspective solves this vast and challenging problem of delivering proactive and complete operational resilience against cyber-attacks. It takes a community of like-minded experts, bonding together to help educate organizations of all sizes and business sectors on the most effective ways to create cyber operational resilience. I am very pleased to be joining the SafeHouse Initiative to help organizations of all sizes learn how to anticipate and assess plausible threats, prepare for, and respond to disruption with proactive operational resilience to meet the challenges of today's cyber-security threats."

Early in 2023, building off of their new SafeHouse Technology, ZeroDown inspired and pioneered the first of its kind multi-vendor collaboration of industry-leading organizations to redefine the approach to operational cyber resilience.

For many organizations, especially those in small-medium businesses (SMB), it can be a daunting task to understand the full scope of what cyber resilience is required for their specific business and the best areas to focus and vendors and technologies to engage.

Insurance agencies, for example, are a key part of the cybersecurity ecosystem, but they are there to provide a policy, not necessarily evaluate and answer questions around all of the possible solutions and technologies to design the best solution. So for many businesses they don't know where to start.

The SafeHouse Initiative was formed as a community of industry-leading technology providers dedicated to sharing open access to knowledge and expertise related to cyber security, operational risk and ransomware protection. Based on the belief that SMBs should be equipped with the same knowledge and best practices as enterprise and government organizations, the SafeHouse Initiative enables businesses of all sizes to develop strategies for operational and application resilience.
