IWA launches its 5th Annual Anthology - Reborn With Memories

By: Immigrant Writers Association

TORONTO - Oct. 30, 2023 - PRLog -- REBORN WITH MEMORIES features ten Canadian immigrant writers who share their figurative rebirths in the form of narrative. Through a mix of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, memoir, and photographs, this collection features a sense of the "subconscious," with stories of fate, war, family, and truth.

The authors included in this collection originate from various countries: Bangladesh, Canada, India, Iran, RD-Congo, USA, Ukraine, Romania—their histories contribute to their stories, and demonstrate the ways immigration and movement across borders changes the subconscious in different ways.

EDITORIAL REVIEW:

"The book contains fiction and non-fiction works that tackle the difficulties immigrants go through when they relocate to another country. An immigrant woman talks about the emotional trauma caused by the war going on in her homeland, and a man reminisces about his life in Congo. One author tells a science fiction version of the Russia and Ukraine war with an amazing plot twist and another narrates a magical tale about a storyteller trying to keep the faith. The book also has poems about celebrating your name and identity, finding a place you belong to, and many more. To enjoy all these works and more, get a copy of this book today.

It is always wonderful when you find a book that stirs your heart and makes you feel. The stories and poems in this book are beautifully written, and the writers' authenticity and creativity are evident in every piece of writing. I think the first story perfectly explains how their experiences with immigration played a significant role in their self-discovery and rebirth. Reborn With Memories by the Immigrant Writers Association is a must-read for anyone who loves reading inspiring stories and poems. The book is well-written and has a consistent format." - Doreen Chombu, Reader's Favorite
