New Seniors Lodge Opens in Airdrie

AIRDRIE, Alberta - Nov. 3, 2023 - PRLog -- Rocky View Foundation, a leading provider of affordable housing solutions, is excited to announce the opening of Abrio Place. This incredible residence is set to redefine senior living in our community by providing comfortable, accessible, and affordable housing options for our elderly residents.

"We are thrilled to announce that Abrio Place is open for business", said Carol Borschneck, CAO at Rocky View Foundation.  "This project involved converting the former Hampton Inn and Suites on East Lake Avenue to a 93-unit seniors' lodge.

Phase 1 of the project is complete, and residents are happily settling into their new home.

Phase 2 is the development of the solarium, Maker's Shop, and landscaping.  Outdoor amenities will include a walking path, communal gardens, a gazebo, and outdoor recreation spaces and equipment.

Rocky View Foundation will be scheduling a grand opening ceremony in the new year to honour their many donors, funding partners and government partners. Without the collective efforts and partnerships of all levels of government, along with the generous support of community groups and private donors, a project like Abrio Place would be impossible.
