Building Sanitation Facilities At Girls Schools In Uttarakhand

GURUGRAM, India - Nov. 1, 2023 - PRLog -- Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Ltd, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in women's health, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to extend their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to build 4 new sanitation facilities for women in the states of Uttarakhand & Punjab India.

1.      Govt. Girls Inter-college, Fazilpur Mahrola, Rudrapur, Uttrakhand

2.      Rajkiya Kanya Uchh Prathmik Vidhalaya, Rudrapur, Uttrakhand

3.      Govt. Girl School at Sri Anandpur Sahib, District – Roopnagar, Punjab

4.      Govt. Girls School, Bajwan Kalan, Tehsil - Shahkot, District – Jalandhar, Punjab

Partnering with Government schools and Sulabh International, this initiative will also provide hygiene education and menstrual awareness program to help women understand the importance of sanitation and good hygiene practices.

The toilet block facilities are also equipped with sanitary pad vending machines and incinerators.
