Nivi partners with ARK Venture Studio's YuBuntu initiative to empower women's health in Kenya

NAIROBI, Kenya - Nov. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- Nivi, a digital health platform that provides personalized and interactive health information, has announced a new collaboration with ARK Venture Studio's YuBuntu initiative, which aims to connect women to health and wellness services in Kenya. The partnership will support the APA Femina Plus program, a women's cancer care initiative launched by APA Insurance and powered by YuBuntu.

APA Femina Plus is a comprehensive wellness and insurance product that covers breast, ovarian and cervical cancers, for women in Kenya. The program offers access to regular screenings and HPV vaccinations for prevention and early detection of cancer, complemented by cash payouts in case of a positive cancer diagnosis. Through the partnership, Nivi will power referrals for APA Femina Plus policyholders, enabling them to find and book appointments with service providers participating in the program.

The partnership between Nivi and ARK Venture Studio's YuBuntu initiative is part of APA Insurance's efforts to increase access to affordable financial products for women in Kenya, especially those in the informal sector. The program aims to reach over 100,000 women in the next three years.
