The Beach House Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics Participates in Houston Race for the Cure

Their latest local involvement? Raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research at Houston's annual Susan G. On October 7th, 2023, 12 of The Beach House staff, including founding pediatric dentist, Dr. Kristi Parker (https://beachhousedental.com/meet-dr-kristi-parker/), participated together in the 5-kilometer race — a first for the team. In total, the 2023 Houston Race for the Cure raised $680,177.94 towards breast cancer research, education, patient support, and policy action.

When asked why they participated, Dr. Parker explained, "I am a strong believer in being involved in our community and raising awareness for important causes." She continued, "Susan G. Komen and the Race for the Cure is an excellent organization and has done substantial work in the fight against breast cancer. We were grateful to be able to be a part of the cause this year!"
