Datawise at the vanguard of the Union Ministry of Tourism's latest initiative

HYDERABAD, India - Nov. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- In August 2022, the Union Ministry of Tourism announced the launch of state-wise, yearlong surveys to assess Domestic and Foreign Footfalls on a common metric. This was to drive uniformity in measuring the success of the Tourism sector and identifying and plugging gaps.

Datawise was one of the few Market Research Agencies, country-wide, which was empanelled to conduct these state-level surveys across all five zones as designated by the Ministry.

Through a competitive bidding process, Datawise has been selected by the state governments of Telangana, Delhi, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, and Andhra Pradesh to execute these year-long tourism studies.

Datawise has completed Phase-I of these projects in Telangana and Mizoram.  Datawise will be commencing Phase-I in the remaining four states and awaits permission from the Ministry to commence Phase-II in Telangana and Mizoram.
