• Introduction to NDPR Implementation Framework
• Rights of data subjects
• Data Protection and Privacy Compliance Audit
• Hiring a Data Protection Officer(DPO)
• Overview of Data Subject Access Rights
• Overview of Data Privacy Impact Assessments
• NDPR Liabilities and penalties

Day 2: Practitioner Training Course

• Introduction to the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR)
• Data Protection Officer (DPO) tasks, & responsibilities
• Data Subject Access Request (DSARs)
• Data Protection Impact Assessments and Privacy design – (designing, planning, Implementing and delivering Data Privacy Impact Assessments)
• Data security and Incident Response Plan
• Local and International Data Transfers
• Data Processing Compliance Process; Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) & Auditing

Training Objectives
At the end of this training, participants should have gained knowledge on:
- What NDPR means and how it applies to their organizations
- Performing basic audit of compliance of their organizations
- Data Collection, Storage and Management
- Build customer confidence and protect organization's reputation and avoid fines
- Develop a record of processing activities for their organization
