According to The Sun, he turned down a whopping £500,000-per-week offer to join Al Nassr, who are captained by former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo. A return to LaLiga is De Gea's preference, with both Real Betis and Valencia interested in the former Atletico Madrid custodian.

Yet the Premier League winner knows he will not earn anything close to the £350,000-per-week wage he earned at United.
