BATON ROUGE, La. - Nov. 27, 2023 - PRLog -- 2nd Annual Listening Room Film Festival line-up of features, shorts, documentaries, music videos and performances by local, regional, national and international filmmakers and touring acts.

December 8, Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room 3pm, 'Listening Room Alumna: Part I' music videos. Made in Louisiana Films: Part I "Music Dreams-An American Story" and "Battlegrounds: The Lost Community of Fazendeville." Opening Party followed by Moment of Truth: How to Write Music for Film and Television, Barry Coffing. Musical performances Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor and The Listening Room All-Stars.

December 9, 3pm, Barry Coffing's Music Licensing. Made in Louisiana: Part II, "Game Party Squad: Part 2," "The Poet," "The Chamber Room," with "Fear of Change. Teasers and Trailers for Films panel, 'Louisiana Musicians' videos. Performances Smaggy, Pastor Leon Hitchens and Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor and The Listening Room All-Stars.

Free to the public, December 10, Main Library, Substance and Subtitles, award-winning shorts and features. "The Librarian" (Turkey,) "Exchange" (Iran) and "Do-Over" (India). Holiday Spirit comedies "The Hood Caroler" and "Santa's Letters." Musical performances Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor and The Listening Room All-Stars, special guest the Lanford Ten Christmas Band.

December 15, 3pm, Listening Room. Christopher J. Stelly, Executive Group Director of Louisiana Entertainment, 'Making Films with Louisiana Tax Credits.' Fantasy and Animation shorts and music videos. Panels Social Issues: Racism, Violence, Drugs and Faith and The A.I. Movement with shorts and music videos. World premiere of Henry Turner Jr.'s "Will I Do the Right Thang" music video. Made in Louisiana, Part III, "Devine Intervention: We Collide." Performers VHS Celebs, Linda Mckenzie, Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor,and The Listening Room All-Stars.

Free to the public, December 16 at 2pm, River Center Library, Films to Make You Think. Baton Rouge debuts award-winners "The Night of Prayers" and "El Sueno." Mystery, Mayhem and Music award-winners "Mirrorty" and "Séance Games-Mexatu.." "American Blues Man" documentary short about Kenny Neal and the Neal Family debut.

December 17, 3pm. Listening Room and Festival Alumna: Part II, World Premiere of "Night Drive" by VHS Celebs. Panel topic with shorts and music videos Marriage, Romance, Heartbreak and Abuse - Women's Issues. Music and the Club Scene award winning shorts "Baby" and "Swing 46: The Last Swingin' Supper Club." World Premiere of "Erie Planet Live." Musical performances by Nisha Catron with 'Dancing the Night Away' music videos.
