Local massage studio names resident Lawrence Lewis Owner and CEO

Silver Spring, MD. December 11, 2023 - Fresh Start Massage and Bodywork is proud to formally announce Lawrence Lewis as Owner, Operator & CEO. Located in the lively area of beautiful downtown Silver Spring in the M&T Bank building.  After experiencing a lay off due to the pandemic, Lewis decided to reach for the American dream by following his passion to become a business owner and opened Fresh Start Massage and Bodywork in 2021.  Growing from an in-home service to a brick and mortar massage studio, Lewis now operates a three-room studio in downtown Silver Spring.

"I was always good with my hands and I am a people person. I went to school for massage therapy and found a great way to combine those skills. It has turned out to be my passion. I love what I do!" says Lewis, Owner and CEO.

Fresh Start currently employs three certified and licensed massage therapists with a multifaceted skill set. Fresh Start Massage and Bodywork offers Swedish, sports, lymphatic drainage and other therapeutic massage services.

"Fresh Start Massage provides services to complement our clients' recovery plans and ongoing wellness efforts. As health care professionals we work with clients to help them heal from injuries or illnesses so that they may live productive lives" says Lewis, Fresh Start Owner.

Fresh Start Massage and Bodywork serves multiple needs for the local community. "Our goal is to motivate our community to feel better from the inside out. Established in 2021 Fresh Start Massage and Bodywork (FSMB)  is located on 8730 Georgia Avenue, in Silver Spring, Maryland.  A proud member of the Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce; FSMB  serves the local  community of Silver Spring and the neighboring counties in the Delaware, Maryland and Virginia area. Owner and CEO Lawrence Lewis is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage,  actively licensed in the state of Maryland and certified in Sports Massage, Medical Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (2024).
