Yorkshire Fire and Security Team Raise nearly £1,500 as a Group for London Youth Rowing Charity

PONTEFRACT, U.K. - Dec. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- As part of an official organized event run by London Youth Rowing, eight team members from Your Choice Fire & Security competed in a 87 team race, with 696 participants, where the total combined distance reached over 11,000km in 1,500+ hours. The team including Managing Director Graham White, Head of Sales Tom Batty and Head of Marketing Sam Twitchett ran, swam, cycled, trampolined in an effort to complete the distance faster than their sister company.

Many sore backs, and exhausted evenings later. The team sat back and saw that they had raised a staggering £400+ and £1,100+ respectively.

Completing the companies new ambition to do something every month for charity, the race closed out a year that also included 'Wear it Pink' – where the entire office wore pink and baked pink goods for a bake sale that raised over £130+, and twice a sweets and chocolate giveaway to the local community centre for the local underprivileged children of the local estate to enjoy for Halloween and Christmas.

Up next, the team are planning their charitable activities and fundraising in January and the new year. Managing Director, Graham White is keen to connect with the local community more and give something back.
