Young Philanthropist Ignites Holiday Cheer in West Harlem with Heartwarming Initiative

NEW YORK - Dec. 24, 2023 - PRLog -- In the heart of West Harlem, an 11-year-old girl has become the beacon of holiday spirit by founding a local charity aimed at spreading joy and kindness year round but kicked off her efforts this festive season with her 1^st annual "Dear Santa" holiday event. This remarkable young philanthropist, EJ Thompkins, recently organized a heartwarming event with the support of friends, family and volunteers.

"Dear Santa" letters were solicited from families who needed the financial support this holiday season and presents started rolling in.  After an intense yet fun night of wrapping, parents and guardians came to pick up these much appreciated presents at Urbano Café, a local establishment known for its commitment to community welfare.

The event, which took place at Cafe Urbano on December 19, was a testament to the power of compassion and the difference that can be made by even the youngest members of the community. The young girl, driven by a deep sense of empathy, established the charity to assist families in need during the holiday season.

Urbano Cafe, a beloved local establishment under the ownership of Omar Regalado, played a pivotal role in making this event a success. Known for his generosity and community-focused approach, Omar went above and beyond to support the initiative. He graciously provided a warm and welcoming space for the event.
