Hire Women Week Returns for Its Third Annual Event: Empowering Women in Tech & Startups

 
AUSTIN, Texas - Jan. 4, 2024 - PRLog -- Hire Women Week, the much-anticipated virtual event connecting talented women with potential employers, is proud to announce the return of its third annual event scheduled for January 22-26, 2024.

Hosted by Lady Bird Talent, this year's event has 15 slated sessions featuring prominent speakers such as Hannah Williams from Salary Transparent Street, David Fano, founder Teal, and Delphine Carter, CEO of Buolo Solutions. In-person events and panels will be scheduled in NYC, Denver, Austin, and Fort Worth. This event also features a virtual job fair and valuable activities like mentorship matchmaking. Hire Women Week aims to nurture women's presence in business through these initiatives, promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce.

The last two years have drawn a large audience, showing the importance of Hire Women Week's message for women at all levels of their careers, especially during a season of layoffs in Tech and other industries. The 2023 event resulted in over 1000 + attendees across the US, the event's job board received over 2,500 "apply" clicks, and the event page drew 2,400+ visits.

In terms of industry distribution, technology, healthcare tech, and finance were the top three sectors represented among attendees, accounting for approximately 50% of registrants. Education-wise, a large number of attendees held a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with 42% also having pursued alternative education routes like boot camps or special certifications.

From a geographic perspective, California, Texas, and New York formed the top three attendee regions, combining around 30% of those registered, reflecting the reach and inclusivity of the event.

Hire Women Week 2024 promises to build on last year's momentum, starting with the impressive lineup of industry leaders and the career elevation opportunities provided to attendees.
