Unsuspecting they would be turned into opioid addicts resulting in destroyed lives, families and communities.
The 10 part docuseries coming to the new TRUE CRIME & JUSTICE streaming channel by ProPics Canada Media Ltd. and ProPics Canada TV is a new, in depth look at the opioid crisis around the world. It explores all aspects of the impacts of the fentanyl and opioid impacts on individuals, families and society. It also will help people outside of the circle of addiction to gain more insight and understanding of the dark world of addiction. An important question asked is "why are so few actual consequences being imposed on those how were at the heart of the crisis and of whom were responsible for more deaths than many historic wars?" The series is created and produced by actor, filmmaker and video journalist, James Cousineau of Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. He has seen first hand the impacts of the opioid epidemic in members of his family and close friends who have fallen to the unintended consequences of trusting the medical and pharmaceutical companies to treat their pain in an ethically and responsible treatment strategy. This includes on of his older brothers who struggled with his prescribed fentanyl being stopped with improper supports and medical plan. His brother hung himself as a result of the impacts. https://youtu.be/ Now the illegal flow of fentanyl, opioids and synthetic alternatives fills the pockets of global cartels, criminal gangs and corrupt politicians. The revenues being realized by these groups are higher than the GDP of some small countries. The risks of violence and destruction have become too real in almost every corner of the globe.
