Wrights Plastics Manufacture Machine Guards for Timberwolf

WEST BROMWICH, U.K. - Jan. 10, 2024 - PRLog -- Leading UK machine guards manufacturer Wrights Plastics is partnering with the Stowemarket-based wood chipper manufacturer to produce a wide range of parts for their bestselling machines.

By using recyclable acrylics as an alternative to previous steel covers reduces the weight of the chippers, aiding manoeuvrability as well as reducing noise levels. Parts supplied include panels, covers, guards and spacers.

One benefit for Timberland is Wrights Plastics ability to develop cost-effective functional rapid plastic prototypes for proposed new designs, using a range of inhouse processes. Our prototypes can withstand rigorous testing - giving customers like Timberwolf confidence in the final design before investing in tooling and manufacturing.

Most of the Timberwolf covers are vacuum formed.  Parts on then precision trimmed using our state-of-the-art 5axis CNC routers.
